Who are we?

James Hope University—Lekki, Lagos, is a private not-for-profit institution located in Lekki Peninsula—a flourishing cosmopolis of Lagos, Nigeria. What personal information do we collect from our users?

When you use JHU online services, contact us via phone or email or apply to any of our programmes, we may ask you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information that can be used to contact or identify you: Personally, identifiable information may include, but is not limited to:

• Name, nationality, gender, date of birth and religion
• Contact details (address, email and phone number)
• Communication preferences
• Employment information (name of the organization, job title, level, work experience, industries worked in)
• Educational background (institution(s), course and year of graduation)

We may also collect information on how our website is accessed and used, i.e usage data. You are advised to inform us if there is any change to your personal information to keep our database up-to-date. We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. We will let you know via email and/or a prominent notice on our website, prior to the change becoming effective and update the “effective date” at the top of this Privacy Policy.
